Q: You have a section called breathing for females. What is so different about female breathing?
A: Well it starts with the male cycle lasts 24 hours. The female cycle lasts 28 days on average. During that time the female body adjusts 5 times. This affecting the breathing and body.
Q: Where does the coaching take place?
A: The coaching session can take place face to face. Either in 1-2-1 or group sessions. They can also take place via zoom/ teams calls.
Q: You mention functional movement and breathing. What do you actually mean by this?
A: Once we have coached our clients on the fundamentals of oxygen advantage. We like to introduce many of the breathing exercises with movement. This can include very subtle yoga, qigong exercises.
Q: I'm on medication for a condition which your coaching claims to improve. Shall I stop taking the medication?
A: Absolutely not. This work is not a replacement for medication. However if your symptoms improve we would advise you to speak to your GP.
Q: How long has this work been known?
A: The medical world were aware that we we're evolving as dysfunctional breathers as recently as 1968. However it was only in the past 20 plus years that Oxygen Advantage curator Patrick McKeown has researched brought this to the forefront.
Q: What difference does mouth breathing make against nasal breathing?
A: It has a huge impact on your health and wellbeing. All will be covered in our coaching sessions.
Q: You list other treatments which you can offer. What impact do these have and why?
A: Through well trusted and qualified professional partners we can offer a range of packages to suit the clients needs. Much is suited with corporate clients who like to build bespoke well being sessions with these services.
